This is how it all started…

your hiking company didn’t begin with a grand business plan or a flashy launch. It started the way most meaningful things do—one foot in front of the other.

For a long time, my relationship with the outdoors was all gas, no brakes. I was a balls-to-the-wall Spartan racer and ultrarunner, chasing finish lines, cutoff times, and the next hard thing. Movement was about pushing—faster, farther, tougher. And while that chapter taught me a lot about grit and endurance, it eventually stopped feeling sustainable.

Hiking found me during that transition.

As I slowed down, stretched my days out, and let distance replace speed, something shifted. Long miles became less about proving something and more about being something—present, curious, grounded. I moved from racing to roaming, from finish lines to ridgelines. Hiking turned into backpacking. Backpacking turned into education. And the outdoors became not just a challenge, but a classroom.

Along the way, people began asking to join me. Friends. Students. People who didn’t see themselves as “outdoorsy,” but wanted to learn, move, and try. I watched confidence grow quietly—on fire roads, switchbacks, and trails where no one cared about pace or performance.

Today, this work is rooted in the belief that hiking is for everyone: beginners, comeback athletes, burned-out high achievers, and anyone looking for a gentler, more meaningful way to move through the world. I design experiences that are intentional, transparent, and supportive—no surprises, no pressure, and no need to earn your place on the trail.

This company exists to help people reconnect—with nature, with their bodies, and with their own capability. To prove that endurance doesn’t always have to be loud. And to remind us that some of the most powerful journeys happen when we slow down enough to notice where we are.

Welcome to the trail.
